Home Sweet Home

A bit belated, but when I landed in Denmark, I hit the ground running. It seems as though I haven't done much f anything since getting home, but at the same time, it feels like if I stumble or falter, the world wont care, and I'll get smacked repeatedly like a persistent leaf stuck in a bike tire.
Any who, I got to Copenhagen in safe, untroubled luxury. It was so worth it! Upon arriving home a friend and I deduced that the extra cost of flying Saga Class was cheaper than riding in a taxi. I don’t know if that particularly makes it excusable, but perhaps a little more reasonable. But dammit, there was enough room to cross my legs and I even slept, well!
As soon as I arrived back in CPH, any airs I might've put on were gone with the wind. I had barely made it onto the conveyer belt out of the airport, accidentally dropping half my luggage on it, before some curt short-haired DSB lady cussed me out for blocking the pathway. It was very important for her to let me know that RULES ARE RULES, and not give me a second to interject that we were the only two people in the whole building, and I had just accidentally dropped my stuff, and if she would bother to help rather than just correct my erroneous behaviour, we wouldn’t have had an issue at all. But as usual, it’s easier to just yell at people for being idiots rather than considering what might've brought them in said situation.
Welcome home.

So I managed to get on the train and get home in one piece, albeit one smelly piece. The taxi driver even found it pertinent to roll down the windows on those last few kilometers home, hehe.
And the second I got home, people began prodding. So we got very, very wasted Friday, even got to test US food products on the Danish populace (1, 2, 3). It took me 3 days to get my shit together to clean up after that. But it was good to come home and see my guy and my cat again.
Once I recovered from that, it was Friday again and friends and I were off to spend the weekend together in a friend's family summerhouse. It is kind of a tradition, and all good. We visited Djurs Sommerland, and here is a link to the entire photo album from that weekend.
Now peace is finally starting to settle into my bones. About time! After all, I have a bachelor's due in 2.5 months, and I haven’t even gotten started yet! Not to mention my 30th birthday looming just around the corner, clarity obfuscated by other birthdays and dress-up parties and an indeterminable date of school starting up again.
So I had better just keep running alongside that ever-ticking clock. Slow down for a moment and the world will pull away, no time, no time!
